My first post
[first post in my blog! yataaa!]
Well, today, this is my 3rd day in my summer job. You may ask what the heck my summer job is. Well it's just simple. I work in my mom's hospital(she doesn't own the hospital ok!). I'm under the supervision of the cheif nurse their. I asperate(it's a process where you transfer the fluid into the injection or syringe), i file her papers, i do her errands, i record the pateint's data in this very big and thick book. And my pay is 50 pesos a day, and according to my mom, i will have a raise when my performance is good. It's sort of easy and it's no big deal and all, but i just want my mom to be in the hospital. Because if she ain't there, i feel uncomfortable and i get depressed. It also affects my performance ya know! Pero everthing changed na and i'm just happy about my work. My mom, also told me that it's a good thing since i'm taking up nursing when i'm in college(that's my dream job!). She continued, " And at least, your already have an idea on what you are going to encounter in college." Aww, shucks mom! That was one heck of an encouragement!
=*=Today, i was assigned to record the patients in book as usual. Maam Rosenie(she's the cheif nurse that i'm assigned to) accepted some students to help in the recording. There was this one student, a boy who studies in Sacred Heart for Nursing, was really having a hard time recording the data. An expercienced nurse, who i know personaly, said to him teasingly and i think encouraginly, "Unsa mana uy! Pildi man ka ug highscohol student! Maayo na kaayo mo record o!" or in english, "What is that! You get defeated by a highschool student! See, she's even better than you in recording!". And mind you that i was in the middle, she was beside me and he was beside. My reaction was just nothing, i just kept it all inside me. I was shocked when she said that, and i was kinda proud too. But i really feel sorry for the dude, pero he just laughed and continued recording. That was a really big thing for me. Hehehehe, after the recording, we chatted a little and we beacame friends right away.
=*=That was a really fun day at the hospital! Tomorrow, there's gonna be a new day to encounter and survive...i think.
